Gunshot alert – loud bangs

During Sunday evening, the police received several alarms about loud explosions in Uppsala.

The police launched a major operation and they made discoveries at the supposed crime scene that could strengthen the suspicions that there had been a shooting. The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder.

Toxic chemical leaks from Northvolt

A toxic chemical leaks from battery manufacturer Northvolt. The reason for the leak must be that the facility cannot cope with the severe cold that can occur in Skellefteå. According to SVT, the pipes must have frozen several times and both water and NMP must have then leaked.

SMHI warns: Snowfall and wind on the way

SMHI has issued yellow warnings in parts of northernmost Norrbotten and Norrbottensfjället. The reason is that both rain, snowfall and wind are expected during Monday.

According to SMHI, there may be up to 15 centimeters of snow in some places.
