Dead person found in the water

A dead person has been found in the water in Boge on Gotland, reports SVT Nyheter Öst. The person has probably not died recently.

– It may have floated ashore, there are signs that it has been there for a while, says Jens Mårtensson, officer on duty at the police to the channel.

The body has not been identified and the circumstances surrounding the death are unclear.

Two dead after car crash

Two men in their 20s died and three more men were taken to hospital after a car drove off the road and into a tree on the Onsala peninsula outside Kungsbacka on Saturday evening, the police said.

The three men being treated in hospital are aged 25.

– One is being treated for serious injuries, for the other two the injuries are minor but they are being treated in hospital, says August Brandt, the police’s spokesperson in the West region.

Shooting at apartment buildings

Shots were fired next to an apartment building in central Helsingborg during the night to Sunday, the police say.

There are no reports that anyone was injured in the shooting, which was initially classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences.
