Elderly man dies in house fire

A man in his 70s has died in a house fire. Neighbors alerted the emergency services about the fire at half past twelve on Friday evening.

“By then it was already burning quite heavily out the door,” he says Matthias JonssonRLC Officer of the Police.

A preliminary investigation into public negligence has been established and the property has been cordoned off for a technical examination.

Drunk teenage girl in collision with taxi

The driver of an A-tractor, also called EPA, has collided with a taxi, the police write on their website.

– She has driven into a taxi. She is drunk and arrested, says Mats Erikssonpress spokesperson for the Stockholm police region.

Man dead after workplace accident – was pinned down

A man in his 50s has died after a workplace accident. The man was crushed under a crane. The alarm about the accident came during Friday morning. Ambulance, police and emergency services were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.

On Saturday morning, the police announced that the man had died of his injuries.
