The Amersfoort technology company Hydratec Industries from Amersfoort has 50 percent women at the top, the second highest number on the ranking. In joint number eight is ASR, the top of this company consists of 43 percent women. The insurance company in Utrecht states that they stimulate the growth of the number of women in top positions for a good reason. “Research shows that the more diversity there is in teams, the better they perform,” says a spokesperson. “And once there are more women in a team, the chance is greater that other groups, such as people with a bicultural background, will follow. We therefore see it as a flywheel for diversity.”
