Also the CBS figures on the total number of passenger cars clearly show an increase: in 2019 there were 695,976 passenger cars in the province, this year there are 742,706. “In addition, Utrecht is the hub of the Netherlands,” adds Fleuren. “You pass quickly if you want to go to other places in the country, so it is logical that there is a lot of activity. Moreover, many people work in the province.”
