More than 230 people died in Hurricane Helene in the USA

The loss of life due to Hurricane Helene, which made landfall at the Category 4 level in the US state of Florida, is increasing.

The death toll from Hurricane ‘Helene’, which affected the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Virginia, exceeded 230.

Helene was the deadliest hurricane to hit the United States since Hurricane Katrina, which killed 1,392 people in 2005.
