LEUSDEN – More than 130 people attended the annual memorial service for Soviet soldiers who were executed by German soldiers 80 years ago in World War II. The commemoration took place for the tenth time. “Before that time, the soldiers, who also fought against Nazi Germany, were completely forgotten,” says director Remco Reiding of the Soviet Ereveld Foundation in Leusden.
