The four men are working in tandem to distract a victim while another steals the victim’s wallet, getting away with credit cards and identifying documents.
Police said they received at least four separate calls for service from seniors who had their wallets stolen between April 11 and 15.
The men – all who appeared to be middle-aged or older – were wearing jeans and hats.
Police are urging shoppers to stay aware of their surroundings and ensure personal items, like purses, are zipped closed and not left unattended.
Anyone who may have information which would assist police to identify the individuals pictured is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service at 519-756-7050.
