More people seek help for eating disorders – after the pandemic

According to the National Board of Health and Welfare, today about 200,000 Swedes between the ages of 15 and 60 live with eating disorders in Sweden. The impact of the pandemic is thus believed to be a reason why the number of people who are now seeking help is increasing. Both the sick association and its relatives are applying to the national association against eating disorders, Frisk & fri, and there is frustration over long queues for care.
