– During the last year, a number of users tried medicine vending machines. They tell us that they feel more secure and independent. Users who need medicines to be taken at exactly the right time do not need to worry that we will not arrive on time, says assistant nurse Cecilia Storm in a statement.
From this year, Region Gotland’s home care, and the home care groups under private management that choose it, can offer medicine dispensers. The machines are also to be launched in the care that takes care of disabled people.
