Carina Bergfeldts talk show is back with a new season and in the first episode she is guested by the world-famous actor Tom Hanks.

One name that has created a lot of interest is Mikael Ymer, the 24-year-old tennis player.
Who is Mikael Ymer?
Mikael Ymer, born Mikael Wondwosen Yemer, 24, was born on September 9, 1998 in Skara and is a successful Swedish tennis player.
He currently lives in a newly built apartment with three balconies for SEK 21.2 million in central Stockholm.
Poor upbringing: Sleep in the dressing room
When Mikael Ymer and his family moved from Skara, he was 14 years old. The move from Skara was to a dressing room, where the family settled.
– My brother and I had a bunk bed there, says the tennis player in the talk show Carina Bergfeldt on SVT and continues:
– I didn’t see it as misery then, that was all my brother and I knew. Dad made it very fun for us all the time and made something positive out of it, our days were eight to eight in the tennis hall and then we went straight in to sleep, says Mikael Ymer.
Mikael Ymer says in the interview that it became difficult to go to school because of the circumstances at the time.
Mikael Ymer’s family
The tennis player has an older brother, Elias Ymer, 26, born April 10, 1996. He also has a little brother, but the name of the youngest in the group of brothers is still unclear. He seems to keep more of a low profile compared to his two older brothers.
Both of the brothers’ parents immigrated separately from Ethiopia to Sweden.
Mikael Ymer’s father Yemer Wondwosen fled from Ethiopia to Sweden in 1987 because of the war against Eritrea. He moved to Skara where he met Kelemeworkalso from Ethiopia, and together they had three sons, of whom Mikael Ymer is the second oldest, writes The Express.
In 2012, the family moved from Skara to Bromma so that the brothers could attend the tennis academy Good to great and be trained by, among others, Magnus Norman, writes GP.

In an interview on Youtube with Keali Abdi tells Ymer about his finances – which are managed by his mother.
He tells her that she is the one who transfers money when he needs it. He thinks it helps him not to make crazy purchases and refers to the Rolex watch he bought in 2018 for SEK 250,000.

Mikael Ymer about Zlatan
During the summer, he received a lot of attention for his explanations for turning down the ATP tournament in Båstad.
Among other things, he said that “the reason why I don’t play in Båstad is the same reason why Zlatan doesn’t play in the Allsvenskan”, says the tennis player to SVT.
