Around a third of all North Korean soldiers sent to the front to fight in Russia’s war against Ukraine have either been killed, skated or disappeared, according to information to the BBC.
But now even more soldiers from North Korea will join the war, writes the New York Times magazine, which refers to an American military source.
According to the source, even more North Korean soldiers are on their way within the coming months, something Ekot was the first to report.
It was last fall that North Korea announced that it assisted Russia with soldiers, after Ukraine occupied Russian land in the course region.
