During the first six months of the year, there were an average of 25,000 more patients each month waiting for surgery or treatment, compared to the corresponding period in 2021.
This is what Sweden’s Municipalities and Regions, SKR, states when they sum up the first half of 2022, reports Läkartidningen.
This is an increase from an average of 158,000 patients each month to an average of 183,000 patients each month.
