Today the streaming service is securing its future: with the dark detective story Alex Cross, which could film 32 original novels.

Alex Cross revolves around the eponymous detective (Aldis Hodge), who solves grisly acts of violence for the Washington DC police. What makes him unique is his ability to precisely understand the perpetrators. The cross-universe created by author James Patterson currently includes 32 novels and 2 novellas. Two other books revolve around Alex Cross’ son Ali. With so many templates the thriller series transcends even Reacher with his 29 novels.
