There have already been more explosions in the province of Utrecht this year than in 2023. This is evident from figures from the Central Netherlands police after questions from RTV Utrecht. There were 42 explosions in the whole of 2023, while there have already been 53 explosions this year up to mid-September. According to the police, it is noticeable that the explosions often take place at private homes.
