Even more is also on the way for next year, as the European Commission recently proposed to transfer a total of 18 billion euros – over 200 billion Swedish kronor – in regular broadcasts during the next year.
“For speedy repairs and a speedy recovery leading to successful reconstruction. We will support Ukraine for as long as it takes,” writes Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Twitter.
In addition to Tuesday’s money, the commission also expects to transfer another 500 million euros in December.
