The death toll from the Russian attack on an apartment building in Dnipro on Saturday has risen to 35.

Another 35 people are still missing on Monday morning, Governor Valentyn Reznitchenko said on the Telegram messaging service, the Kyiv Independent newspaper reports.

According to the information, at least two children are among the dead and 70 people have been injured.

Efforts to find more people in the rubble beneath the destroyed building continue, although hope of finding more survivors is dwindling.

Russia has in recent days claimed to have taken over the small town of Soledar near Bachmut, claims that have been denied by Ukraine and Donetsk Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko.

On Monday morning, however, Robert Brovdy, commander of a Ukrainian drone unit, stated that Russian forces had taken over the last area that Ukrainian forces had control over, the newspaper writes.
