The number of passengers from Linköping Airport increased by 94.5 percent in the third quarter of this year compared to the same period last year. From Norrköping Airport, passengers increased by 39.4 percent.
– They show that we are on our way back to the levels we were at before the pandemic, says Jessica Ågren Ohlsson, marketing director at Norrköping Airport.

But at the same time, the prevailing world situation and the increased threat picture may affect travel.
– You think about what is happening and where you are going and above all which countries you have planned to visit. The worldview is changing incredibly quickly, says traveler Bertil Eklund.
Anxiety about being Swedish
Jessica Ågren recently came home from an air show in Istanbul and she reflected in a different way, she says.
– I felt a certain concern about being Swedish and being in Turkey. It was the first time that I reflected that it might not be good to advertise being Swedish. I have never thought of that before.
