More and more people are moving on ironing today. A tip, however, makes it possible to remove the folds without iron: the tip of the shower.
Every morning is the same catchphrase. You are already late, but your favorite shirt is completely crumpled, and the very idea of taking out the iron discourages you. He sits in a corner of the closet, completely useless. Since when haven’t you used it? While it was previously an essential element of the home, more and more people abandon the ironing step and reserve it only for important events (weddings, job interviews, etc.).
This is not due to negligence, it is simply that clothing habits have changed. Daily accelerates, materials modernize, priorities change. The impeccable fold, formerly synonymous with rigor, gradually gives way to comfort, more relaxed cuts … and alternative solutions.
More and more people are today seeking to defly their clothes without iron. Several methods exist-the use of a steaming, a hairdryer, a hair straightener, a defraying spray or even the good old rolling pin for the most creative. But a particular tip seems to be consensus for its effectiveness, its simplicity and, above all, its gratuitousness.
The principle is very simple: operate the steam of your shower. Just hang the garment on a hanger, hang it somewhere in the bathroom (a door, a shelf, the shower rod …), without direct contact with water of course. All you have to do is wash quietly, taking care to close the door well in order to hold the steam well.
As the water flows, the garment will relax naturally thanks to the ambient humidity. Ten to thirty minutes are usually enough to do the work, depending on the fabric. No need to handle a burning device, no table to install, no lost time. Just steam, and a good relaxing shower. Finally, a small hand smoothing can perfect everything.
Be careful however: not all tissues react in the same way. Cotton, linen or viscose lend themselves well to exercise, but certain synthetic materials can be more capricious. Likewise, this method is less effective on thick tissues. In short, this technique works mainly with flexible and light clothes, such as shirts and blouses. All you have to do is test!
