There are no precise figures about the increase in the number of gulls in Utrecht. But the municipality does say that more and more reports are coming in. And the birds don’t just flock to the city. “They are also in Houten,” says Buijs. “And in Woerden, on the roof of transport company Snel, next to the distribution center of Jumbo.”
