Actor and comedian Jim Carrey, known from the movie “The mask” among others, jumps off Twitter with one last post: an animated political caricature of a crazy old lighthouse keeper who will guide us through a treacherous night and the words: “I love you all so very”.
Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter has prompted several American celebrities to leave the platform since Musk’s takeover on October 28. Some of the first were screenwriter Shonda Rhimes and “This is us” producer Ken Olin. Now celebrities such as Stephen Fry, Gigi Hadid and Whoopi Goldberg have also left the platform.
