Employees of the Dutch Railways were more often confronted with aggression in the past year. In 2022, more than 950 offenses were committed, about thirty percent more than the year before. “Unacceptable,” says CEO Wouter Koolmees. “I therefore call on everyone: leave my colleagues alone.” The CEO wants it to be easier for security staff to check the identity of troublemakers.
