Torsby municipality is now going out and warning about a moose cow that has created problems in the center.
The animal has attacked people and residents are asked to stay away.
“Now it can be dangerous,” writes the municipality.
A moose cow and a calf have been running around Torsby centre, writes the municipality in one Facebook post. They urge people to leave the animals alone and choose alternative routes if they come across moose cows.
“We have learned that the cow showed signs of being angry when people approached,” wrote the municipality first.
The animals will mostly stay in the Ria area in Torsby.

Now the municipality is warning about the moose – because moose cows have started attacking people.
“Now it can be dangerous,” Torsby municipality writes on Facebook.
Despite several attempts to herd the moose cow and the calf away to the forest, they have returned. Something they believe is due to a lack of food.
The municipality has also had a dialogue with the police about how the situation should be handled.
