The first round of the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 continues this Tuesday with the debut of Djokovic and Monfils.
Continuation of the first round of the Monte Carlo Tournament this Tuesday, April 9. Yesterday, during the first round, Arthur Fils and Ugo Humbert held their place to join the second round of this Monegasque Masters 1000. The first named crushed Yannick Hanfmann 6-0, 6-2, who had to take over from an ill Adrian Mannarino. The second named, eagerly awaited a few weeks before Roland Garros, had a hard time facing an Argentinian who specializes in clay, but the number 14 seed won in three sets against Coria 4-6, 6 -1, 6-2.
This Tuesday, Gaël Monfils will make his debut on the clay court of the Principality against the Australian Jordan Thompson, an affordable first round for the Monf. We will also follow the clash between Wawrinka and de Minaur or the debut of Hubert Hurkacz, but the attraction of the day will be to see the Serbian’s return to competition Novak Djokovic.

The traditional clay court tour begins on the rock on April 6, 2024. The final will be played on Sunday April 14, 2024.
