MontanaBlack’s driving behaviour is criticized – “I reported the clip to the driving license office”

The German Twitch streamer Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris (36) likes cars, energy drinks, dogs and he likes to drive fast. Apparently a little too fast. A scene is being discussed online in which MontanaBlack is outraged at a Toyota driver who dares to drive in the left lane at only 130 km/h.

What’s going on with MontanaBlack?

  • Probably the most famous German Twitch streamer, MontanaBlack, has discovered IRL streams for himself in recent months and no longer streams from his desk but from real life. This is also because he no longer feels comfortable and safe in his house, as he explained in April 2024.
  • For a while he went exploring by bike, met new friends, went to amusement parks and got into trouble when he tried to take his bike on the train, but it was all okay.
  • Recently, MontanaBlack has been driving a lot and filming himself, for example when he drives to Baller League events. This is causing trouble. MontanaBlack has financed fast sports cars with reaction videos and he likes to exploit their potential to the full.

Clip of MontanaBlack on the highway is reported

What kind of clip is bothering him? A GTA role player, Justus Henker, who calls himself a “GTA RP lawyer”, now says on Twitter that he used a clip from MontanaBlack as an opportunity to report him to the driver’s license office.

In a statement to MeinMMO, Henker says: Everyone who knows my GTA5 roleplay knows how important safe driving is to me.

In the clip he shares, MontanaBlack is seen driving in the left lane and getting upset about a Toyota that is only driving “130 on the unlimited left.” When he overtakes the Toyota a short while later, he yells, “And another woman,” and revs up.

Few people know that Justus Henker is a lawyer

How is this discussed? A YouTuber has already addressed and analyzed this: He points out that Justus Henker is a lawyer.

The YouTuber says that MontanaBlack could lose his driver’s license here because he is not keeping a safe distance from the Toyota. If you watch a stream of MontanaBlack, you will also notice that he is constantly driving too fast. When the speed limit on the motorway is 130, MontanaBlack does not slow down, but slows down and continues to drive at a significantly excessive speed for several minutes.

1,000 young people take him as their role model

This is how it is discussed: In the comments on the video (via YouTube) it becomes apparent that some people view MontanaBlack’s driving behavior as critical or even irresponsible:

  • The stupidest thing you can do is film yourself committing traffic violations.
  • Sorry, in my opinion the complaint is absolutely justified. He drives far too aggressively, doesn’t keep his distance, doesn’t stick to the speed limit and everything should be tolerated because he is “The one and only Monte”? Nope, rules apply to him too. He, who is a role model for many young people, also has certain responsibilities.
  • Henker himself adds under the video: I’m actually not that petty, but I’m so aggressive at 200+ km/h. For the safety of all of us, a thorough driving ability check should be carried out at an MPU. Especially since thousands of young people take Monte as a role model.
  • MontanaBlack has traditionally not really had a role model function or responsibility for reach. In September 2022, for example, he was criticized by ZDF satirist Jan Böhmermann for promoting gambling and making it attractive to young people in particular. But MontanaBlack didn’t want to hear anything about that: MontanaBlack on criticism of Twitch streamers by ZDF Magazin Royale: “Everyone is responsible for themselves”
