Although Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris is one of the biggest streamers on German Twitch, he has rarely been on air recently. One of the reasons for this was constant swatting incidents. A new streaming center is now supposed to fix this.
What’s the setup all about? At the beginning of July 2024, MontanaBlack started operating his new “headquarters” on Twitch. For the time being, there will be no more streams from his home gaming basement: viewers had treated the streamer so badly that he could no longer feel comfortable at home.
MontanaBlack has rented a warehouse for his new headquarters, which houses his streaming setup, his expensive luxury cars and a sofa corner for podcasts. You can marvel at the chic end result on YouTube. However, viewers can only shake their heads at a few details.
MontanaBlack started out in his grandparents’ attic.
Sink on the wall and tangled cables under the table
What bothers the audience? When MontanaBlack presented his new headquarters, not everyone was enthusiastic. On YouTube, the comments were mostly positive, but a sink in particular, which can be seen in the background from a certain camera angle, caused some amusement. In addition, not everyone can relate to the new look:
When the new headquarters appeared in the unofficial Twitch highlights of YouTuber “Satter Hugo” on July 22, 2022, attentive observers noticed another detail. Apparently, savings were made in an area that viewers rarely get to see anyway: cable management.
YouTube user nick_iq2310 writes: “Imagine you have an entire hall set up for a small fortune and in the end you end up with a cable management system like this.” Mathewsde sees it similarly: “The new headquarters urgently needs cable management. It always triggers me.” (via YouTube)
How much did all this fun cost? He has not yet revealed exactly how much money MontanaBlack has invested in the new headquarters. In the stream he only said this much:
There is also the new Porsche GT3 RS, which now adorns the hall instead of the plain S-Class – there was probably no longer enough space for cable management.
For a while, a Lamborghini seemed to be the ultimate status symbol among Twitch streamers. Currently, however, the trend seems to be towards Porsches. Even the otherwise down-to-earth Trymacs recently acquired a new vehicle: Trymacs almost canceled his €200,000 car because a color was not available – only drives it on special occasions
