Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris (35) is not particularly good at talking to Twitch streamer Pia “Shurjoka” Scholz (25) and makes no secret of it. Now he has revealed how much money it brings him to mock the 25-year-old in his streams.
Who doesn’t MontanaBlack like? The Twitch streamer Pia “Shurjoka” Scholz was awarded the German Computer Game Prize in May 2023 as “Player of the Year”. That didn’t sit well with some, however, who felt the 25-year-old wasn’t showing enough gaming content to garner such an award.
The streamer has been a thorn in the side of some on the net since her criticism of the Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy. She had even called for a boycott of the game.
The colleagues from GamePro have prepared the controversy surrounding the open world title for you:
Unusual alliance forms against Shurjoka
Opinion blogger Tim “KuchenTV” Held published a video in which he described the award ceremony as a “scandal”, thereby establishing an unusual alliance:
He mainly eats, because when CakeTV has a lot to say, MontanaBlack can feast in peace. And the gambling streamer Theo “Scurrows” Bottländer is somehow allowed to participate.
What’s interesting is that the streamers have all had their disagreements among themselves, but have now apparently put them aside due to their shared dislike of Shurjoka. And not without reason, because you can earn really well with it.
It makes so much money to think Shurjoka is stupid
How much does MontanaBlack make from this? In a recent video, CakeTV sneered that he could do without a clarifying conversation with Shurjoka because his content about the streamer was going “mega well”. MontanaBlack agrees: The reactions would also be great.
The Twitch streamer calculates: here a video with 730,000 views, there one with 800,000, plus several videos with around 400,000 views. MontanaBlack doesn’t know exactly how much money he gets per video, but he estimates:
There could be between 3,000 and 4,000 euros for the two more successful videos, plus three “jet fighters” for the slightly weaker videos. That would be 1,000 euros each. Thus, MontanaBlack would have earned 9,000 – 11,000 euros by comfortably teasing about Shurjoka.
And that’s just the earnings from YouTube, where the recordings of his reaction streams are uploaded. MontanaBlack did not say how much he earns from the associated Twitch streams, but if the 35-year-old has his way, it is definitely not enough.
Last but not least, MontanaBlack Shurjoka also offers to send her some cans of his new energy drink “Gönrgy” for tasting. Half of her streams would consist of “just chatting” anyway, then there would finally be quality content from her, the streamer scoffs.
