Monsoon rains hit Pakistan The death toll exceeded 1200

The number of people who lost their lives in Pakistan due to the effective monsoon rains since 14 June has reached 1208.

According to the data of Pakistan National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), 244 of 1208 people who lost their lives since 14 June were women, 416 were children, and the number of injured was 6 thousand 82.

Throughout the country, 5 thousand 63 kilometers of roads were damaged, 243 bridges and 173 shops were destroyed.

Due to the floods, one million 172 thousand 549 houses were damaged, of which 436 thousand 307 were completely destroyed.

While 33 million 46 thousand people were affected by the flood disasters in the country, a total of 733 thousand 488 farm animals perished.

The number of people living in the aid camps established decreased to 472 thousand 313. (AA)
