According to the government site Rappel Conso, this batch of sausages mentioned above are contaminated with salmonella. Due to the presence of this bacterium, it is recommended not to consume these sausages.

However, if you have consumed this batch, more or less serious symptoms may occur, following a toxi-infection. These symptoms result in gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhoea, vomiting) of sudden onset often accompanied by fever and headaches which generally occur 6 to 72 hours after consumption of the contaminated products.

Please note: these symptoms may be more pronounced in children, pregnant women, immunocompromised people and the elderly.

Moreover, if you have eaten these sausages and these symptoms have appeared, consult your doctor without delay.. “In the absence of symptoms within 7 days after consumption of the products concerned, there is no need to worry and consult a doctor” (…) “If the product must be cooked before consumption: cooking at heart of products (boiled eggs, pastries, poultry meat, etc.) at +65°C destroys these bacteria and prevents the consequences of such contamination”, specifies the sites of dangerous product alerts.

If you wish, you can also return the lot to the point of sale. You will then be offered a refund.
