The notoriously likeable TV detective Adrian Monk was one of the most iconic crime characters of the 2000s. Tony Shalhoub played the character of his life in Monk for a total of 8 seasons. After the series finale in 2009, a film was released last year in which the investigator returns for a case.
The comeback with the appropriate German title Mr. Monk’s Last Case is released Finally in Germany in 2024. Now we know when and where you can watch the return of the crime thriller.

According to a press release, Mr. Monk’s final case comes on February 2, 2024 exclusively in the telecom provider’s streaming offer MagentaTV. In the film, the cult detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder takes on a very personal case involving his stepdaughter Molly (Caitlin McGee). Monk met her for the first time in the final 8th season. Molly works as a journalist and is preparing for her wedding, but suddenly her fiancé is found dead.
In addition to Tony Shalhoub in the title role and MC Gee as Molly, the Monk film includes Traylor Howard as Natalie Teeger, Melora Hardin as Trudy Monk, Ted Levine as Leland Stottlemeyer and Jason Gray-Stanford as Randy Disher.
