(Finance) – Mondadoria publishing group listed on Euronext STAR Milan, has finalized the sale to Artoni Group and SRHtwo of the most important operators active in the local distribution of daily and periodical press, del 51% of the share capital of Press-di Distribuzione Stampa and Multimediathe company that operates in the national distribution of periodicals and newspapers for the Mondadori group and for over 90 third-party publishers.
The operation aims to increase efficiency and achieve synergies through a process of vertical integration in the sector, through the involvement of specialized operators. There will be no changes in the contractual conditions already applied to the distribution activities. Righel Anglois confirmed in the role of CEO.
The sale of 51% of Press-di, which in 2021 contributed approximately 29 million euros to the consolidated revenues of the Mondadori group, provides for a consideration of 1.5 million euros. Therefore, it will have no impact on the group’s guidance for the year 2022.
