Monaco qualified for the Champions League Clermont officially Ligue 2

Thanks to its 2-0 victory in Montpellier on Sunday during the 33rd day of Ligue 1, Monaco ensured that it will play in the group stage of the Champions League next season, a first since 2018. Two goals from Ouattara (52nd ) and Fofana (65th) allowed the Monegasques to guarantee their second place in the ranking behind the Parisian champion. They will therefore not have to go through a preliminary round of C1. The 33rd day of the championship having been completed, other clubs have seen their season mathematically sealed. While Nantes is delighted to remain in Ligue 1 next season, thanks to a 2-1 defeat by Metz in Strasbourg, Clermont is definitively condemned to Ligue 2. The Auvergnats were beaten 1-0 by OL at home and will finish the season at best 17th.
