Mona Brorsson’s great smash hit at the World Cup – takes the best position of her career with a second place

What an incredible Swedish giant at the World Cup.
Mona Brorsson surprised everyone during the biathlon sprint on Friday.
The 33-year-old impressively finished second and took the best position of his career.

Mona Brorsson seems to thrive in Ruhpolding. On Wednesday she did a very nice relay leg, and on Friday she put in another strong effort. It was second place for Brorsson, after flawless shooting by the Swede.

It is Brorsson’s second career podium.
– I’m a little moved. I’m so happy with how I completed this race, I couldn’t have done better today, she says and continues:
– This means so much, and to be able to do it with these girls around me. It means so much that people can be happy with one.

After the podium she was praised, not only by her own teammates but also by the day’s victors, Ingrid Landmark Dental violence.
– If there’s anyone I treat to a good run, it’s Mona. She is an absolutely fantastic girl who I really want to get to that, says the Norwegian.

For the Öberg sisters, the shooting did not go so well. Elvira Öberg drew two hurdles and despite good speed in the track, she did not reach the podium. For big sister Hanna Öbergwho was back after not competing in the relay, had a total of three misses.

The result in the sprint is the basis for the start of the chase on Sunday.
