What an incredible World Cup debut we got to see!
And then we don’t talk about Ella Halvarsson.
Without the excellent TV expert Mona Brorsson.

Another biathlon World Cup is over and we thank Swiss Lenzerheide for this time. Swedish herds failed totally and failed to take a single medal, but on the women’s side we got to see great deeds.

Elvira Öberg Come to this year’s World Cup with illness and a broken self-confidence to chase the career’s first individual World Cup medal. It ended in total success with World Cup gold in mass start, World Cup silver in hunting start and World Cup bronze in the women’s relay and there we really can say: Finally!
The big breakthrough stood so clearly Ella Halvarsson for. The 25-year-old made his very first championship in the World Cup and impressed big with both World Cup silver in the distance race and the World Cup bronze in the women’s relay.

But unfortunately Elvira and Ella get apologized when I appoint my blue-yellow World Cup queen. During the championship, we have seen another Swedish World Cup debutant completely brilliant.
I’m talking about Mona Brorsson who made his very first biathlon World Cup as a TV expert at SVT. The former national team skier ended his career last spring and during the winter has stepped into the “Winter Studio” with such a matter of course and pondus that you get the feeling that she has worked with television for 30 years.
Brorsson has gone straight into the hearts of Swedish TV viewers during the biathlon season and the World Cup in Lenzerheide became her big show. Her lovely personality and razor-sharp expertise go right through the TV box and it is a delight to listen to biathlon language.

Together with Björn Ferry So they complement each other extremely well, as the snack bag from Storuman fits so extremely well during the live broadcast with their fast oral leather. While Mona’s calm summarizes the races in the best way and gives a new approach to what we have been able to see in the ski tracks and on the shooting room.
Mona is popular
The fact that she also knows the national team skiers as well as former teammate also gives that extra click needed during a championship to understand our blue -yellow athletes. SVT is indeed the world’s best at monitoring biathlon and in Mona Brorsson you have done a dream acquisition.
She is born to act as an expert commentator and her first biathlon World Cup became a real taste start. It will be a pleasure to follow her continued television career and as popular as she has become, it will not stay in just biathlon.
