Momodou Sarr represented Gnistan from summer 2022.
A football player Momodou Sarr the Veikkausliiga team moves from Gnistan to the Danish Kolding IF. The Kolding club plays at the second highest league level in Denmark.
– I am satisfied with my transfer to Kolding IF. It’s a very big step in my career, and I want to help a team that has big goals and plans, Sarr commented on the Danish club in the bulletin.
– There are many reasons why I chose Kolding IF. Among other things, I had a good conversation with the club, and Kolding IF fits well with my understanding of football and culture. I also consider it the right next step as a footballer, he continues.
The club says that Sarr can debut in his new team already on Friday evening.
The 24-year-old Sarr moved from Ilves to Gnistan in July 2022.
– We are really happy for Mudu. He has improved a lot during his time in Gnistan, and his goal has been to go abroad. It is great that this goal has now been realized. Our goal is to develop players in Oulunkylä and help them towards bigger arenas. Mudu is a good example of this. He has achieved this by working really hard for his development, commented Gnistan’s director of sports Jarkko Jokiranta of the Helsinki club in the bulletin.
