The 4-day Platinum Jubile celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th anniversary on the throne have come to an end. While the last day of the celebrations was the scene of colorful images, the hologram of Queen Elizabeth marked the celebrations.
HOLOGRAM WAS SURPRISED
While Queen Elizabeth could not attend many events held within the framework of the Platinum Jubilee due to health problems, the Queen’s hologram greeted the public from the 260-year-old golden carriage that went to Buckingham Palace, accompanied by a procession.
While the hologram created with images taken during Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in 1953 was astonishing, the procession followed a similar path as Queen Elizabeth went to her coronation in 1953.
After the golden carriage arrived at Buckingham Palace, 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth greeted the public by going to the balcony of the palace.
The Queen’s royal family members, Prince Charles of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were present at the Queen’s side.
THANKS TO THE PEOPLE FROM THE QUEEN
Queen Elizabeth thanked the public with her written statement. Mentioning that 70 years on the throne is a first, the statement said, “As for how to celebrate 70 years as your Queen, there is no guidebook to follow. This is truly a first. But I was honored and deeply touched by so many people taking to the streets to celebrate my platinum anniversary. Although I have not personally attended every event, my heart is with all of you and with the support of my family, I am determined to serve you to the best of my ability. I have been inspired by the kindness, joy and kinship that has been so evident in recent days, and I hope this renewed sense of togetherness will be felt for many years to come. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of you for your good wishes and the role you played in these happy celebrations. (UAV)
