The Egyptian striker’s contract with Liverpool expires this season, and an extension has still not been signed. And maybe it won’t.
The superstar of Liverpool, who leads the English Premier League Mohamed Salah has been in a great mood this season: 18 league games, with 17 goals and 13 assists.
The Egyptian striker, 32, hinted on Friday that there might not be an extension. Contract negotiations have not progressed.
– I want to win the championship, really badly. This is my last year with the club, so I want to do something special for this city.
– We waited for the championship for like 30 years (before the 2020 title), and we won it, but it was during the pandemic and we couldn’t celebrate that championship in the right way. But hopefully this year we will, Salah stated in an interview published by Sky Sports on Friday.
