MOHA THE SHARK. Rapper Moha La Squale, still indicted for sexual assault, violence and kidnapping, announces on Twitter the release of a new album.
“Soon the album, I’ll announce it on Sunday la miff”, writes Moha La Squale in a video posted on his Twitter account, this Thursday, April 7, 2022, announcing his return to the front of the stage. The 27-year-old rapper, still indicted for sexual assault, violence and forcible confinement, had seen his record projects postponed when the case broke out in September 2020.
Moha La Squale was indicted just a year ago, after the six complaints filed against him for sexual assault, violence by spouse and kidnapping, in the wake of the #Balancetonrappeur movement. The complainants then presented themselves as former girlfriends of the rapper. A first investigation was opened in September 2020 for “intentional violence”, “death threats” and “sexual assault”.
Since these accusations, Moha La Squale denies these accusations, denouncing a “conspiracy perpetuated for [l]e harm”. “I have never in the great NEVER raised my hand on a woman”, he wrote on Twitter. In April 2021, the interpreter of My beautiful had been sentenced in another case to six months in prison home under electronic surveillance, for refusing to comply, outrage and rebellion after a violent arrest in Paris.
