Moderate losses on Wall Street Focus on the Fed

(Finance) – Wall Street continues to fall fractionally, with the Dow Jones which is leaving 0.39% on the fence, breaking the positive chain of three consecutive hikes, which began last Thursday; along the same lines, theS&P-500, which lost 0.20%, trading at 4,446 points. Almost unchanged NASDAQ 100 (+0.02%); with analogous direction, on the levels of the vigilS&P 100 (-0.04%).

Investor sentiment is weighed down by the prospect of further interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve, on which signals will be sought in the minutes of the latest directorate to be released tonight.

Featured prominently in the S&P 500 are the sub-funds utilities (+1.58%) and telecommunications (+1.40%). Among the most negative of the S&P 500 list, we find the sub-funds materials (-2.28%), power (-0.96%) and industrial goods (-0.59%).

To the top between Wall Street giants, boeing (+1.38%), Walgreens Boots Alliance (+0.88%), Salesforce (+0.72%) and Coca Cola (+0.54%).

The worst performances, however, are recorded on intelwhich gets -2.29%.

Bad sitting for Nikewhich shows a loss of 2.28%.

Under pressure Dowwhich shows a drop of 2.18%.

Slide Goldman Sachswith a clear disadvantage of 1.73%.

On the podium of the Nasdaq stocks, Meta Platforms (+3.26%), Astrazeneca (+2.97%), Atlassian (+2.31%) and alphabet (+2.04%).

The strongest sales, on the other hand, show up ON Semiconductorwhich continues trading at -3.85%.

In red KLA-Tencorwhich shows a marked decrease of 2.94%.

The negative performance of Lam Researchwhich drops by 2.88%.

Align technology drops by 2.66%.
