One of the mobile vaccine clinics traveling across the province in a Metrolinx GO bus will return to Listowel next week, public health officials have announced.

First, second, and third doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and it’s pediatric equivalent for children five to 11 will be available at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex on Tuesday and the North Perth municipal office on Wednesday.
“We continue to see a steady number of new cases in Huron Perth, and being fully vaccinated is the best protection against COVID-19,” said Dr. Miriam Klassen, Huron-Perth’s medical officer of health, in a release. “I encourage anyone who has yet to get their COVID-19 vaccine and is eligible to attend one of these mobile clinics to get vaccinated as soon as possible.”
The mobile clinic will be open both days from 1 pm to 7 pm
No appointment is required.
Vaccines will be available until supplies last.
Anyone born in 2016 or earlier is eligible for a first or second dose.
Residents 50 and older will be eligible for Booster doses on Monday as long as its been at least six months since their second jab.
Eligibility for booster doses is expected to expand to the 18-49 group in early January.
Many of the new cases in Huron and Perth counties over the past several weeks have been concentrated in North Perth and Perth East, where five schools are currently experiencing outbreaks.
As case counts continue to soar in Ontario, three area health units, including Huron-Perth public health, have recommended limiting indoor holiday gatherings to 10 people, fewer than the 25-person limit currently legislated by the province.

The recommendation comes as officials begin reporting cases of the Omicron variant in southwestern Ontario. On Friday, Huron-Perth public health warned area residents a person possibly infected with the variant may have inadvertently exposed others to the virus earlier this month in two Huron County locations.
Huron-Perth reported 11 new cases on Friday. There were 82 active cases in the region on Friday, according to the health unit’s COVID-19 dashboard.
The seven-day infection rate in Huron-Perth was 50.1 cases per 100,000 people as of Thursday, while the seven-day positivity rate, also to Thursday, was 2.96 per cent.
Ontario reported 1,607 new cases of the virus on Saturday.
There were also five new deaths in Ontario, bringing the toll to 10,070.
The province was aware of 10,009 active cases of COVID-19 on Saturday.
Ontario had 14 more patients in hospital for a total of 323. ICU cases were down by five, for a total of 146, while 94 patients are on ventilators.
The province’s rolling seven-day average is now 1,194, up from 895 at this point last week.
The province performed 42,205 tests over the past 24 hours, with the positivity rate of 4.6 per cent.
The province has confirmed 48 cases of the Omicron variant, and local health units say they are investigating other possible cases.
