Mistake #1: Charging your car the day before
Your suitcases are ready, all you have to do is have a good night’s sleep before the big departure and load your car. To save time and a few minutes of sleep on the morning of the big departure, you might be tempted to load your car the day before. It is a mistake. First of all, it might attract thieves during the night and you might end up with a broken car trunk and no suitcases. But that’s not all, it would indicate to potential burglars that you are about to go on vacation. Don’t tempt fate and set your alarm clock a few minutes earlier on D-Day.
