Missing weapons behind the murders of the 14-year-old boys

The two boys disappeared from their accommodation in Nyköping at the end of July – their bodies were later found dumped in Stockholm.
The police’s theory is that the boys kept weapons for the “Kurdish Foxes” – but when the weapons disappeared, it wasn’t long until the boys met the same fate, according to information.
The double murder must have taken place in brutal ways, according to the same information.

On the night between July 24 and 25, 14-year-old Layth and a boy of the same age disappeared. Layth was placed in a family home and the other boy in a HVB home, both in Nyköping.

Late in the evening on July 31, the police were alerted to a forest lot in Nynäshamn municipality. Passers-by had found the body of the first 14-year-old, who had reportedly been stabbed with a knife.

And a week ago, Layth’s body was found by members of the public who were out walking in an outdoor area in Upplands-Bro, northwest of Stockholm.

According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the boys are suspected of having been murdered in brutal ways.

Missing weapons behind the double murder

According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the police are investigating the connection between the events and the criminal network Foxtrot and its leader Rawa Majid, 37, who is also known as the “Kurdish Fox”.

– There are clear indications that the crimes can be linked to the “Kurdish fox” and people acting on his behalf, says an informant.

More specifically, the boys allegedly stored weapons for Majid – along with a third boy. When the weapons disappeared, the leader of the Foxtrot network is said to have wanted to set a deterrent example, according to information.

The police suspect that the murders did not take place in the places where the bodies were found and when Layth’s body was found there were signs indicating that the body had been tried to be hidden, according to information.

15-year-old boy in custody

A 15-year-old boy is in custody on suspicion of his involvement in Layth’s murder.

On August 11, he was arrested on probable cause on suspicion of aiding and abetting kidnapping at Layth. On Thursday, the classification was changed to aiding and abetting murder.

– Circumstances have emerged in the case that mean that the suspicion is now aiding and abetting murder. I cannot go into what the circumstances are, says senior prosecutor Hanna Cardell, who leads the preliminary investigation.

The prosecutor does not want to comment on the information about the connection between the 15-year-old and the two dead boys.

– It’s nothing I can comment on. According to the prosecutor, they are looking for more suspects.
