US citizen Travis Pete Timmerman, who disappeared in Syria, was released from Sednaya Prison. According to AA news, Timmerman was found in Damascus on Thursday (December 12) after being released from the regime’s Sednaya Prison.
HELD IN THE TORTURE CENTER IN DAMASCUS
Timmerman stated that he was being held in the detention and torture center called “Palestine Branch” of the regime’s security units in Damascus.
Stating that he is from the US state of Missouri and that he set out from the USA for “pilgrimage”, Timmerman said that he went to Europe in March, came to Zahle, Lebanon in May, and then went to Syria.
During Timmerman’s statements, a local security team came to the house and took Timmerman away.
Police officials in the US state of Missouri reported that the last contact with Timmerman was made on June 2. According to the statement made by the authorities, Timmerman, who has been missing since June 2, was last seen on May 28 at the International Baptist Church in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Budapest police authorities declared Timmerman missing on August 26.
