Stratford police say a St. Marys woman reported missing on Aug. 2 has been found safe in London.
Police initially reported Ateref Teshome-Demissie had left her home on Monday, Aug. 1, and did not return. At the time, police said they were concerned for her well-being and issued a missing persons alert to the public.
On Sept. 3, Stratford police received information that Teshome-Demissie was with friends in the City of London. London police were then able to locate the woman and confirmed there were no concerns for her well-being.
The Stratford Police Service thanked the public for their assistance with this investigation.
