In a dark gray Volvo model S80, 20-year-old Elliott left his job in Skellefteå just over a month ago. Since then, the police together with Missing people have carried out large search efforts in the area around Jävre. But so far there is no trace of Elliott or his car.
A great mystery
The police do not suspect a crime, but a report of kidnapping has been drawn up to get more tools in the search.
– The parents are shocked why he is gone and the police don’t understand why either. This is a big mystery, says Martin Persson, operations leader at Missing people in Västerbotten.
“Very extreme”
At 21:21 on November 28, in the Jävre area, north of Skellefteå, Elliott’s phone was “pinned” for the last time. This is where the large search mission has focused its efforts for the past month. The police have searched with a helicopter, the rest of the search has been done in cars.
– We cannot organize traditional skull processions because he disappeared in his car. The only way to search is by car, says Martin Persson.
But despite a large search effort, there is still no trace of Elliott.
– Disappearing by car is not unusual, but then you usually find them after a few days. This is very extreme, says Martin Persson.
New search on Saturday
On Saturday, Missing people plans to do another search. The search will, just like previous times, be carried out with cars.
This time the focus will be on the interior. Each motorist who participates gets his own area to search.
– You don’t know how many cars there will be, but you want to try to collect as many as possible. You are welcome to contact us if you want to participate, says Martin Persson.
The family’s plea
Elliott’s family themselves have issued an appeal on social media and are appealing for the public’s help. TV4 Nyheterna has been in contact with his mother, who has given her approval for the picture of Elliott to be published.
– We need help finding the car to understand what happened to him, says Elliott’s mother to TV4 Nyheterna.
– He has never been away before. It is a mystery to all of us.
Blonde snappy hair
In Missing people’s and the family’s search for Elliott, it is written that he has blond shaggy hair and light, thin beard growth. He is about 186 centimeters tall and weighs about 70 kg. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket and dark trousers when he disappeared.
