Missing Mexican journalist dead

A reporter for the Mexican newspaper La Jornada was found dead in the state of Nayarit on Saturday, a day after he was reported missing, the newspaper said.

Luis Martín Sánchez, 59, was at home last Wednesday night when he last spoke to his wife on the phone. On Friday, she reported him missing, suspecting that he had been kidnapped. His computer, mobile phone and a hard drive were missing.

Since 2000, more than 150 journalists have been murdered in the country, according to Reporters Without Borders.
