It is at the dance floor in Holmarna in Skutskär that the police, other authorities and volunteers gather to look for the man. Anneli Dimander, mission leader Missing people, goes through the equipment that volunteers will be sent away with. The organization expects to hold on until it gets dark. There is still hope to find the man, hopefully well preserved.
– I hope we find him. In 80 percent of cases we find missing people alive and I hope he is one of them, says Anneli Dimander.
Motivated crew
Fredrik Degerman, rescue leader at the police, also has hope.
– We have a motivated crew and a motivated public. I have not set an end for this effort.
He explains that there is a systematic schedule that has been laid out for the search and that they are now searching in the area in which, according to various calculations, they think the man is located.
We search from land, in the water and from the air, says Fredrik Degerman.
As of Saturday afternoon, the man had not yet been found.
