The man was found at around 10.30 pm on Friday evening in the Umeälven, the police say.
The police confirm that it is the man they have been looking for since a drowning alarm came in on July 9.
Then a person who saw an upside-down boat drifting around on the Umeälven in Lycksele raised the alarm. The same boat that the caller saw a person in earlier in the evening.
There was a large search effort in the area where helicopters, drones and divers were used in the search.
Relatives have been notified.
