A mother and three children who had been hiking at Kittelfjäll in Västerbotten and had been reported missing were found again on Sunday.
The mountain rescue was activated and, together with the police, they searched for the family by helicopter. They were found at 15:52 and according to the police they are in good spirits and want to continue down themselves.
– According to the information we have, they would have arrived yesterday. Then we don’t know if they changed their plans on the way, said Björn Pettersson, RLC commander at the police, earlier on Sunday.
