Hundreds of Ms. Snusk’s songs were removed from Spotify after accusations of manipulated streams.
Now she breaks her silence for the first time since the songs disappeared.
– I know nothing about it and I have of course spoken to Rasmus because he is my partner and he has said no, she says in an interview with Aftonbladet.
The current Melodifestivalen artist Fröken Snusk has had anything but a calm upload. Hundreds of her songs were removed from Spotify at the beginning of the year after allegations of manipulated and purchased streams.
In an interview with Aftonbladet, she speaks out for the first time since the accusations. She herself states that neither she nor anyone else bought streams.
– I know nothing about that. I have of course spoken to Rasmus because I work with him. He is my partner. And he has said no. I trust him because I have known him for years and he has never lied to me. So I trust what he says.
“It’s been very busy”
The time after the accusations, she says, has been very difficult and she must have locked herself in some days because she was so broken.
– So, it has been very busy. I, like everyone else, didn’t understand anything.
After the accusations, she has performed a gig, then she didn’t know how the audience would react, whether they would boo or not. However, the audience received her well and she believes that it was a great atmosphere despite the recent events.
Distracting to read everything negative
At the same time, she says that recent events have affected her before Melodifestivalen. Several votes were raised to stop her participation in Melodifestivalen, but SVT has no plans to stop her participation.
– There is a lot with Mello and you have to keep track of everything. There are dance practices and singing practices, dress rehearsals and everything. So of course it’s distracting when you go in and only read negatives about you, when you know yourself that you haven’t done anything. That people make false accusations everywhere. So it definitely affects. Some days you feel good, but other days you break down and have a hard time.
On February 10, she competes in Melodifestivalen with the song “Young & Free”.
